Easy Paleo Waffles Recipe for the Busy Entrepreneur

I’m a mom and a business owner—so let’s just say I don’t have a ton of time to do a bunch of cooking. So how do I stay healthy and score major points with my kids? Introducing… Paleo waffles.

I love this recipe because it’s really not that hard to make. Plus, my kids and I both enjoy them! (They get their waffle fix. I get my healthy meal. Sorry, Eggo.)

Chances are, if you’re interested in these waffles, you already know what the Paleo diet is. But just in case you don’t…

The Paleo diet typically includes lean meats, fish, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds—foods that hunter-gatherers would have eaten, according to the Mayo Clinic.

Our modern diet is so filled with processed ingredients and sugar that our bodies are literally overloaded.

But I get no guilt when I eat Paleo waffles.

So… let’s dive in.

Paleo Waffle Ingredients and Tools

Paleo Birch Benders Pancake and Waffle Mix

Ashwagandha

Cinnamon

Cacao Powder

Water (make sure it’s Paleo water… kidding )

Avocado Oil Spray

ChocZero Maple Syrup

Bad Bitch Waffle Iron (I have this one because I’m a cool mom…)

Directions for Paleo Waffles

Mix the pancake mix, ashwagandha, cinnamon, cacao powder and water together in a bowl. Easy peasy.

Grease your waffle iron with the avocado oil spray and pour the batter into the iron.

When the light goes off, remove the waffle.

Pour ChocZero maple syrup over the waffles and enjoy!

There’s really very little you can do to mess up this recipe. But if you do end up burning a few waffles, I won’t judge you. 😉
